Just shut down my old page ~s85 (started to dislike like the name...created it when I used to exclusively use a Sony DSC-S85 camera) and will be uploading my old photos here. Had a few Canon 300D photo up there and decided to just merge the pages, besides, I rarely updated that page.
Photo of a white bengal tiger at the Panaewa Zoo. Not exactly the greatest photo in the world, this was shot with my 75-300mm telephoto lens back in August of '04. I figure if I feel up to it I'll go back and see if I can redo the photo this up coming summer. I no longer have the original unedited file in my possession. I lost it and around 2-3 gigs worth of photographs (among other things) I took in the past 4 years when my Hard Drive crashed...TWICE...*sigh* *edit I actually did manage to find a file big enough to produce a 8x10 print...still don't have the original. Might have to hunt down some old CD's Some information about Namaste: "Namaste was born on September 30, 1998 and arrived in Hilo April 16, 1999. He was 7 months old and weighed 80 pounds. The zoo is kinda out of the way...it's almost like they don't want people to know where it is.
Seriously awesome photo, man. Very beautiful.

Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live- Norman Cousins
Hope I can get a few good shots when I do my reshoot.

The whole conviction of my life now rests upon the belief that loneliness,
far from being a rare and curious phenomenon, peculiar to myself and to
a few other solitary men, is the central and inevitable fact of human existence - By Thomas Wolfe.
